Educational programs

“I never teach my pupils, I only attempt to provide the conditions in which they can learn.”
- Albert Einstein

As a team of naturalists, explorers and photographers, Wild Voyager is keenly aware of the urgent need to sensitize the next generation with the values of conservation, sustainability, and the idea of interdependence of species that are central to the survival of our planet. Our team could be of assistance in your drive to produce a generation of creative, responsible, compassionate youth who are not only sensitive and respectful towards the needs of fellow human beings, but also every other species we share our world with.

Wild Voyager has extensive experience in conservation advocacy, with seminars at a wide variety of institutions such as Assocham, the Indian Institutes of Management, Indian forest departments, schools and colleges and so on. Specifically, we could partner you in the following areas.

  • Sensitization on Wildlife Conservation & ClimateChange - Classroom lectures by our core team and by eminent personalities sensitizing the students on various issues. Field trips to local wildlife habitats and highlight the issues by live examples and encouraging the students to participate. Chance to participate in live projects undertaken by our team or by different forest departments in India
  • Nature photography learning - These days everyone has easy access to cameras than ever before, with most smartphones producing high quality images and DSLR technology advancing at never before pace. With that comes a challenge, to utilise this technology effectively to pursue ones creative interest in photography. What better if one of our professional photographers come and gives a talk on basics of photography to the young ones. They not only pickup a hobby for life, but also for a lifetime create awareness about conservation through their photographs.
  • Educational trips - We run regular wildlife and nature awareness camps as well as bird watching camps for students to get closer to nature and appreciate our surroundings. The idea is to catch them young and as they learn to sit patiently to track wildlife or a bird and identify them by sounds, or as they trek through forests and learn IDs of trees and flowers, slowly the young ones develop into brand ambassadors for planet earth and champions of sustainability. We also run group educational tours to top industrial and educational hubs around the world.
