The real tour is yet to start.

As you explore some more, you shall witness the ecosystem at play. This vibrant display of nature's food chain surely gets you thinking. From wild cats and giraffes to a diversity of birds, Ol Pejeta has a lot to offer and embrace.

Day 4

Road trip to Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha will transport you to another place entirely. Its cool waters provide comfort to crocodiles and baby hippos alike.

Not only does the lake inhabit many different species of birds, including cormorants, saddle-billed storks, pelicans, cuckoos, and African fish-eagles, but the Lake is also home to the endangered Black and White Rhinos.

A boat ride will navigate you through the waters, so you can relax and enjoy. Say goodbye to all your worries as you dreamily float on a boat across the sparkling waters. Watch the sun touch the horizon in sharp orange and red hues, as soon as the evening sets.

Day 5

Visit the Lake Nakuru for Game Drive

As soon as you reach Lake Nakuru, you'll be captivated by its picturesque landscape and scenic beauty.

Watch the gushing waters of Makalia waterfall, spot any of the different species of mammals like rhinos and waterbucks and notice the quirky gait of the exotic pink flamingos.

Watch the beautiful sunset from any of its hill-cliffs, and return to Lake Naivasha by the evening.

Day 6

A trip to Maasai Mara

It is a seven-hour drive from Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara. The cool, blue waters of Lake Naivasha are in contrast to the earthy tones of the Maasai Mara reserve.

After reaching the site, check-in at your Olgatuni camp, and then you can explore the surroundings. Named after the Maasai Mara tribe, the Maasai Mara Reserve is just as vibrant and beautiful. Imagine your big-five safari Kenya trip coming to a fruitful end as you take in the wilderness, and appreciate the African big cats.

Do not miss out on meeting the infamous Maasai Tribe, who've done their part in maintaining the ecosystem of Maasai Mara.

These months coincide with the wildebeest migration wherein plenty of action is seen. The weather during this peak season also remains temperate. Instead of being wet, the land becomes dry, making it easier to observe wildlife.

The green season, also called the calving season, is observed from December to February. These months oversee the birth of newborn wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and other plain animals.
