After arriving at the airport in Reykjavik, you will be transferred to your hotel. From there you can either visit the Blue Lagoon (Iceland’s most famous thermal baths) or go sightseeing.

You will do Iceland volcano tour at the Blajfoll Country Park where you will spend the day exploring the Þríhnúkagígur volcano. In the afternoon, you will drive to the town of Hveragerdi, where you will spend the following night hiking to Reykjadalur. Reykjadalur is best known for the heated river that runs through it. The hot spring’s boiling water is filled by rainwater and meltwater of the glaciers. Depending on how hot you want the water to be, you can go up- or down-river for the perfect bathing temperature.

Today you will be heading to Seljalandsfoss. Seljalandsfoss waterfall is a supremely graceful waterfall located on the South Coast of Iceland. The fall is off 60 meters and a quite water pool. There are unseen pathways that take you to the backside of the waterfall to give a complete view of this natural wonder. The next halt Seljavellir is the oldest standing swimming pool in Iceland. This is surrounded by spectacular scenery and beautiful landscapes. Bjorn Andrésson Berjaneskoti constructed this swimming pool in 1923 with an aim to teach swimming to the local population. The local population’s main occupation was fishery but they had no formal place to learn swimming. Today swimming training is compulsory for all the kids in Iceland and this is inspired by the Seljavallalaug swimming pool.

The late afternoon will be spent exploring Reynisfjara. It is Iceland’s black sand beach that encompasses the spectacular panoramas, basalt stacks, and terrific Atlantic waves.

Today you will head to Skaftafell. Skaftafell a well-known place for its fabulous scenic view and flora that grows between the glacier and sand. Tourists can experience the richness of nature through black sand deserts, glacier lagoons, waterfalls, and geological formations. The rough area of this place adds panoramic beauty that gives plenty of opportunities to photographers to capture nature’s beauty.

You will then head for a 30-minute drive to Jokulsarlon lake that is situated near the glacier lagoon filled with glacier’s meltwater. Europe’s biggest ice cap in Vatnajökullalso has water that is basically meltwater of the icebergs. Some of these icebergs are very giant in height.

Today you will set out for the small town of Eggilstadir. Established in 1947 by governmental decree, Egilsstaðir, one of Iceland´s youngest townships- has become the service and trade center for most of East Iceland. Today it has educational institutions, financial firms, business enterprises and a large number of retail and service enterprises.

Today you will drive to Asbyrgi (Shelter of the Gods). Filled with folk tales the spectacular horseshoe-shaped Ásbyrgi Canyon is situated in the depression of the northeast region of Iceland.

Today you will explore Lake Myvatn in northern Iceland famous for portraying the most stunning landscapes. 2300 years ago a massive volcano eruption had happened as a result of which the lake was formed. Today this lake and surrounding region are famous for bird watching during the summer season and to see spectacular volcanic features. The name "Mývatn" is derived from the large numbers of pygmies that assemble at the lake.

Today you will head to the Skjalfandi Bay where you will find the little town of Husavik. Húsavík is the very best whale watching harbor in Iceland, with local operators boasting of an unmatched 99% success rate.

Today you will head out for a three-hour drive to Husafell. Húsafell is a former site of the rectory, church estate, and a sprawling farm. Situated on the western part of Iceland Husafell is considered as the deep-seated farm in Borgarfjörður. It is situated quite close to Reykholt and Reykholtsdalur. Húsafell farm is a home for tourists either visiting or wish to reside in the nearby area.

Today you will experience the geothermal fields at Reykjanes Peninsula.

After this, you will head to the airport to mark the end of your Iceland vacation and for your journey home.
