Day 1

Arrival at Kuala Lumpur

Take a flight to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

Day 2

Kuala Lumpur-Kuching

From Kuala Lumpur, take a connecting flight to Kuching. The Borneo Luxury Tours start in Kuching. Once you arrive in Kuching, our representatives will meet you and transfer you to your accommodation.

Day 3

Visit Bako National Park

In the morning, head to Bako National Park with your private guide. Expanding over 27 sq. km, Bako National Park is one of the main highlights of Borneo luxury tours. The park is home to numerous types of vegetation like swamp forests, mangrove forests, dipterocarp forests, delicate cliff vegetation, and the like. There are numerous well-marked trails in this park.

Day 4

Kuching-Batang Ai

The next destination on the Borneo luxury tour itinerary is Batang Ai. After breakfast, leave the city of Kuching and head towards the jungles and rivers of Batang Ai. Upon arrival at the reservoir, guests are transferred to their accommodations by boat. Explore the beautiful place on your own and retire for the day.

Day 5

Batang Ai

Post breakfast, visit the Batang Ai National Park, a part of the 24 sq. km. trans-national protected areas of tropical rainforests. Due to conservation reasons, it is one of the very few rainforests in this region that is open to visitors. The beautiful natural phenomena of the region never fail to astound visitors. Spend the day exploring the jungle with a private guide and visiting the head-hunter tribal longhouses.

Day 6

Batang Ai- Kuching

Today, guests will head back to Kuching from Batang Ai.

Day 7

Kuching-Sandakan

Sandakan is one of the chief highlights of Borneo Luxury Tours. Guests are free to spend the morning at leisure in Kuching before they are transferred to the airport for a flight to Sandakan. In Sandakan, the Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary is a must-visit. Visit the sanctuary during feeding time and explore the education center.

Day 8

Sandakan-Kinabatangan River Area

After breakfast, head to the Kinabatangan River Area. The Kinabatangan River is the longest river in Sabah. It starts in the Crocker Range in southwest Sabah and ends in the Sulu Sea southeast of Sandakan. The area boasts a diverse range of habitats and vegetation that support a plethora of wildlife varieties. In the afternoon, guests can take a boat trip along the tributaries of the river in search of orangutans building their nests for the night and families of proboscis monkeys.

Day 9

Explore the Kinabatangan River Area

On this day, explore the Kinabatangan River area by foot and on a boat. A personal guide will guide you throughout the tour of this area. This area is home to the Kinabatangan Sanctuary, which boasts 27800 hectares of conservation forests. This place is regarded as one of the top wildlife-watching destinations in Southeast Asia.

Day 10

Kinabatangan River Area-Sandakan-Kota Kinabalu

On this day, return to Sandakan and fly to Kota Kinabalu. From Kota Kinabalu, guests are transferred to Rasa Ria. Rasa Ria is located on a private beach in Tuaran. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the beaches in this region. The local landmarks include Upside Down House and Tun Mustapha Tower. The majestic beauty of this region can be seen at Dalit Beach and the Karambunai Peninsula. For lovers of adventure, rafting opportunities are available in the nearby waters. Day 11

Kota Kinabalu-Kuala Lumpur

Spend the morning at leisure. Sadly, the Borneo Luxury Tours end here.

Guests are transferred to the airport for their flight back home via Kuala Lumpur.
