ITINERARY - 9 Days

Arrival in Reykjavik in accordance with your itinerary. The capital of Iceland, Reykjavik, is situated 45 minutes. We recommend using the day to take a swim should you arrive early. We could also recommend to see with the city center and get a fantastic view of the city. Reykjavik presents many high-quality restaurants to select from, and give you a chance to experience the local delicacies. 

  • Arrival at the airport 
  • Visit Hallgrimskirkja church in the town center and view the city by the tower of the church

Breakfast in the resort. The tour begins with a drive around Reykjavik city center and your guide will tell you fascinating facts about the town. By Reykjavík you push through the village of Hveragerði and visit Gullfoss, the 'Golden Waterfall', and also the neighboring Geysir hot spring area to observe the famous Geysir and Strokkur geysers. Strokkur is a spring that spouts every couple of minutes up. The trainer continues along the south shore and ceases for one to respect the waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss prior to continuing to Dyrhólaey nature book (closed during nesting period from mid-May to June 25). Breakfast in the resort. Now you continue to Eldhraun, the biggest bulk of lava to stream on the surface of the planet, prior to reaching the little city Kirkjubæjarklaustur, a former site of a 12th-century Catholic convent. The excursion proceeds to Vatnajökull National Park that is Europe's biggest national park over Skeiðarársandur sands. This is the Iceland volcano and glacier tour that leaves visitors mesmerized with the view of the great contrasts involving active volcanoes, powerful glaciers, strong glacial rivers, and endless flat sandy plains. The tour proceeds into the Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon that is magnificent to find icebergs' birthplace. Here it is also possible to add the optional action of sailing among the icebergs (must be reserved via the manual at the commencement of your tour). Breakfast in the resort. Drive via a pass from Höfn. At the very top of Almannaskarð pass, you will earn a stop to admire the superb view of the shore, together with black sands and Vatnajökull glacier. The tour proceeds into the hills plunging into the sea which forms the East Fjords. Through fjord villages, you'll pass on how to Egilsstaðir.

Breakfast in the resort. Now you'll push the uninhabited region and vacant vastness of this highland desert plateau Möðrudalsöræfi. There'll be one-stop en route although the drive through this region requires 2-3 hours. Come across and be astounded by the most effective waterfall in Europe; Dettifoss. From there you visit the Lake Mývatn place where much beauty is available. Round the Myvatn region, you may see Námaskarð pass with its boiling mud pools and vibrant colors, the odd lava slopes at Dimmuborgir and other fascinating areas. Mývatn area has quite varied birdlife and a few say it's home to more species of ducks than any other place on Earth. In the afternoon you have the choice to try out really distinctive expertise from the bathing website. The water from the lagoon is full of minerals and nature takes care of keeping the water clean. Breakfast in the resort. Traveling towards the bustling northern interface of Akureyri, creating a stop in the glorious Goðafoss waterfall (Waterfall" of the gods") and in the folk museum Laufás. That you can like to view a turf farm. The entry into the Laufás folk museum is also included. Following the museum, you may visit Akureyri, Iceland's second-largest city with buildings that are enchanting and the perspective of this Eyjafjörður Fjord. In Akureyri, based upon time, you can go on an optional 3-hour boat trip. There is the option also to try sea angling and also to find whales. You'll continue across the roads of Eyjafjörður along with the Troll Peninsula, a drive along hills with views across the Arctic Sea and sand shore after spending some time. You may reach Siglufjörður, situated in a fjord, city of the wood buildings in the nation.

Breakfast in the resort. You will see the Museum of Siglufjörður. The museum recreates the feeling of the 20th  century, once Siglufjörður was converted to a city. The entry to the Herring Museum is also included. You will go hills along and moves fjord. Here you'll go to with a horse farm where you will find a horse series and get an introduction to the Icelandic horse which has a gait - the tölt. The horse series in the Varmilaekur horse farm is comprised. From there the tour heads towards Blönduós constructed on either side of the salmon river Blanda's village. Today a character reserved place Within this lake is an island called Hrutey. The guide will take you to the island for a stroll across a bridge. You will cross the Holtavörðuheiði plateau via Borgarfjörður fjord into the city of Borgarnes.

Breakfast in the resort. To Deildartunguhver you'll drive By Borgarnes. Before continuing through Hvalfjörður fjord into Lake Þingvallavatn, A stop will be forced to respect the Hraunfossar waterfalls. From there you may continue to Þingvellir National Park, the site of the world's first parliament kept outside. Þingvellir was recorded on the UNESCO World Heritage List as 2004. In the afternoon you'll return to Reykjavik, before being dropped off in the hotel where you may enjoy city sightseeing.
