Delhi is the aptest representation of India’s spirit of ‘Unity in Diversity.’ It is a conglomeration of the modern and the old. While old Delhi takes you back to the Mughal times, thanks to the remnants of the historic Mughal architectures, New Delhi, with its glittering malls and polished streets, brings you back to the dazzling present.

Delhi offers you numerous things to see, do, and experience. Be it its busy bazaars, packed food lanes, or larger than life establishments, Delhi will inspire awe in you with every step you take in the city.

Day 2

Our next stop, at a stone’s throw distance from the Chandni Chowk, is the Jama Masjid, one of the most ancient mosques of Asia and an iconic tourist destination of the city. This mammoth Mughal establishment is a treat for the eyes of an architecture lover and features mandatorily in the itinerary of most Delhi-Rajasthan tour packages. We also drive past the Red Fort, another historical establishment that is a huge crowd-puller and one of the country’s signature buildings. Then we visit Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi.

After having lunch, we head towards New Delhi. The first stop will be Humayun’s Tomb, a beautiful establishment where the maverick Mughal emperor rests. The Jahangir Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-am, Macchi Bhawan, Nagina Masjid, Moti Masjid, Sheesh Mahal, and the Musamman Burj were all built for different purposes but one thing they share in common, as you will see, is their exotic and extravagant built.
