Commencement of Delhi Agra Jaipur Tour

As the tourists arrive in Delhi, they can use this day to settle in the hot climate of India and rest a bit at their accommodations. The tour begins at the capital of the country as the city is the perfect amalgamation of the ancient as well as modern India. It gives you a glance at how far the country has come since its independence and how rich it was under the most powerful kings of the world.

Explore the marvels of Delhi

The day starts afresh with breakfast and continues to sightseeing the ancient city. The tourists will visit the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, Raj Ghat, and pay respect to one of the greatest leaders the world has ever seen. Then they will proceed to the Mughal splendor Red Fort, built entirely of red stone. The sheer beauty and grandeur of the place are awe-inspiring.

Continuing with the chain of marvels, the next stop will be Jama Masjid. One of the best examples of Mughal architecture is found in the walls of the largest mosque of Asia. Experience the olden days by riding on the rickshaw that is pulled by bicycles and takes you through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk.

Once the tourists have had their fill of the city that was built centuries ago, they will proceed to glimpse at the marvels of New Delhi. Walk towards the imposing India Gate and read the names of Indian soldiers who lost their lives in the First World War. Then the tourists will proceed to the residential house of the President of India, Rashtrapati Bhawan. Walk through the gardens and enjoy the beautifully built fountains as you marvel at the British architecture of the place.

Our next stop is also an architectural marvel. The Lotus Temple, built in the shape of a lotus a wondrous and mind-blowing sight.

Set out to Agra

After breakfast, the tourists will head to Agra by road. The city built on the dreams of Mughal Emperors has a majestic feel to it even to this day. The place is an architectural wonder, a gift of history, and a landmark for love.

Touch the feeling of eternal love by watching the tale of the undying love of Shah Jahan for his wife, Mumtaz Mahal through the majestic dance performance 'Mohabbat The Taj Show' as the dusk lights up the white marble of the Taj.

Get a closer look at the Heritage of Agra

After breakfast, the tourists will proceed to Agra Fort. The massive and imposing monument looks like a force to be reckoned to this day. The marvelous red stone, the impeccable architecture, and the tall Burj provide a wonderful sight to the eyes. The next stop is the Baby Taj. The tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah built with white marble has a striking resemblance to the Taj Mahal.

After a relaxing lunch, proceed to the Heritage Walk through the banks of Ganga. The tourists will find several Mughal monuments along the way that string the splendor of the Mughal Empire in a beautiful story.

The Mughal Marvel continues

The first stop for the day is the magnificent Taj Mahal. Experience the wonderful Taj Mahal Tour. Watch the white marble shining under the early morning sun. The sight of sunrise by the banks of Yamuna as you watch the magnificent monument come to light is one of the most memorable sights.

After breakfast, hop on for a ride to the city of ghosts, Fatehpur Sikri. The dream city of Akbar stands in ruin now but one can still glimpse at the marvelous Buland Darwaza, the tomb of Salim Chisti, Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khaas and the palace of Jodhabai.

As we move to Jaipur, we will stop at Abhaneri. The village was built for rainwater harvesting by King Mihir Bhoj. Here we will visit the steep wells such as Chand Baori and the palace of the King.

Also, visit the Harshat Mata temple. The palace is adorned with stone carvings that, though partially destroyed by the Mughals, can still be seen peeking through the ruins.

After lunch, we will continue to Jaipur, the city of palaces.

Explore the 'Pink City'

The city was built by the Rajput King Jai Singh. The city still sings the praises of the Rajput kings by preserving their history in the walls of the beautiful forts and palaces that adorn the city. Start your day with an elephant ride which will make you feel like a royal. Then, visit Amber Palace. The Palace holds various wonders inside it such as Sheesh Mahal, Jas Mandir, and others. Each of these buildings boasts the intricate work that is the signature of Rajasthani architecture. The Fort from the outside will intimidate you and from the inside, it will woo your heart with its wonders.

Continuing the chain of palaces, the next stop will be the City Palace, abode to the royal family to date. Though some parts of the palace are closed to the public, one can still experience the wonderful architecture and grandeur of the palace by walking through its gardens and temples.

Next on the itinerary is the palace of jharokhas, Hawa Mahal. The summer retreat of the royal family in the olden days, the palace's intricate designs, and latticework will stop you at every step.

Spend the rest of the day exploring the centuries-old bazaars of Jaipur that continue the traditions of different arts through generations.

An excursion to Sanganer and Samode

Near Jaipur lies Sanganer, famous for its craftsmen and artisans. Here, the traditional Bandhani work is still done on clothes with natural colors by hand. The process of dying the tightly stretched clothes to make different patterns is a fascinating experience.

A little further is the quiet village of Samode. Another example of Rajpur grandeur, the fort, and the haveli of Samode give you a chance to glimpse at the ancient architecture at your own pace and without the hustle of the city. The tourists can also experience the fun and bumpy ride on camels in the village.

Reach the City of Dreams: Mumbai

Early morning, a departure from Jaipur to Mumbai will make the end of the Delhi Agra Jaipur tour but not to our India Exploration tour. After lunch and a little rest, they will set out to explore the city. The first stop is Gateway of India, built to welcome King George V. The huge arch is a wonder of Mughal and British architecture. Watch the sunset at the Queen's Necklace as you walk through Marine Drive. Explore the history of the place at Mani Bhavan, the safe place of Mahatma Gandhi which is turned into a museum, and the Prince of Wales Museum, the place which holds a piece of India from every part and point of time.

A Mumbai trip is incomplete and tasteless without the lip-smacking bhelpuri at Chowpatty beach. Indulge in the throngs of people as you enjoy the evening with the best snacks and a wonderful view.

Sightseeing Mumbai

Start the day by exploring the ELephants caves. The temple caves are more than 1500 years old but the carvings on its walls are still intact. The maze of the caves has various temples, the most famous one being the one dedicated to Shiva.

Once the tourists' eyes are satiated with the marvels of these ancient caves, the next step will be to satiate the stomach of the tourists. Enjoy the famous street food of Mumbai at Mohammad Ali Road and Bohri Mohalla. One cannot have enough of the spicy and crispy kebabs, pot curry, biryani, and other marvelous cuisines.

Excursion in the Kodanad Elephant Sanctuary

Abode to Indian elephants, the sanctuary is known as an elephant rescue center. One can walk alongside the Periyar river or take a boat ride through it to enjoy the untamed beauty of the place.

Next on the itinerary is Munnar. The hill station is a perfect place to enjoy the natural treasure of God's Own Country, Kerala.

Explore Munnar

Have a picnic at Anayirangal or the Elephant lake and enjoy the clear blue skies by the lake as the smell of tea leaves calm you. It is the best activity to detach you from the hustle of cities.

Visit the Tata Tea Museum and learn the history of Munnar and how tea plantations helped it grow. Retreat to the tranquility of CSI Church. The church is adorned with stained glass windows and a splendid chandelier that speaks for the place's grandeur.
