A trip to the Maldives is synonymous with indulging in luxury and relaxation. Everything about the Maldives is unique and worth exploring, whether it be their culture, cuisines, history, traditions, local life, or language. Having a guide by your side will help you explore things that tourists would usually miss. Picturesque islands beach laden with coconut palm trees, warm and crystal clear water stretching for miles on end, sparkling white beaches, a sense of tranquillity, and the stunning marine life – this is what the Maldives is all about. Please make note that the Maldives is a predominantly Muslim region, and there are certain restrictions on the consumption of alcohol and beachwear. Clear these details with your guide, lest it may cause any issues. A trip to the Maldives is usually on the top of people’s bucket lists, and for good reasons too! Day 1 |
Arrival When you arrive at the Male International Airport, you'll leave for your accommodation in Hulhumale. After checking in, you can relax and explore the local surroundings. We encourage talking to the guide and see if you have any questions. Lots of people have an evening drink like coffee, with their guide as a companion. Take ample rest before your trip begins in the most real sense. |
Day 2 |
A visit to Guraidhoo Before leaving for Guraidhoo, you'll get the opportunity to explore the capital city as well. Make sure to visit the local market, fish market, Sultan Park, President's Palace, and Friday Mosque. After a delicious breakfast, you'll transfer to the city of Male via public ferry. Visit all the places mentioned above and more. After lunch, you'll visit Guraidhoo in South Male, via regional ferry. Make sure to take in the view on the ferry-ride and look out for any dolphins! Once you reach your accommodation, take this time to rest or watch the mesmerizing sunset. |
Day 3 |
Exploring Guraidhoo You'd be remiss if you went on a trip to the Maldives and didn't take an opportunity to explore the underwater marine life. After an extensive safety briefing, you'll be ready for snorkeling! Your guide will be there every step of the way and also act as your "spotter" for hidden aquatic life. If you're not feeling confident or safe, you'll receive thorough assistance. Observe the local life of the Guraidhoo people- children playing on the streets and women preparing meals. Watch how the traditional wooden boat "dhoni" is made. |
Day 4 |
A visit to the coral reefs Maldives is famous for its coral reefs. On the fourth day of your all-inclusive trip to Maldives, after breakfast, you'll visit the beautiful coral reefs, rigged with colorful fish and vibrant marine life. Keep an eye out for turtles, rays, and sharks! You'll be back by afternoon and free to use your leisure time as you want. You may even venture a little more in water-sports. |
Day 5 |
A visit to Maafushi After a hearty breakfast, travel to Maafushi via local ferry rides. Once you've checked in, get ready to explore the vibrant underwater life of Maafushi waters. On our way, we may stop at a sandbank for a nice picnic. Swim and snorkel in the tranquil lagoon or just sit back and relax, either way, you'll have a wonderful experience. On our way back to the accommodation, cruise the magnificent Indian Ocean in the search for adorable dolphins. Go on a stroll with your guide, post-dinner, and learn about Maafushi's contribution to developing local tourism. |
Day 6 |
Relaxing through the day You will have the entire day to do as you please, as long as the rules of the region are followed. Explore the world of water-sports or indulge in local cuisine- it's up to you! |
Day 7 |
Journey to Gulhi After an early breakfast, a ferry ride will take you to the quiet town of Gulhi. Watch the swellers fix their big boats, chat with the local ladies, or enjoy a refreshing Kurumba(coconut). You can either relax at the bikini beach or go for your final snorkeling trip in the Maldives. After all of this fun, a delicious farewell dinner awaits! |
Day 8 |
Departure After an early breakfast, you'll go to Male via a ferry ride. Then, you'll reach the Male International Airport and catch your scheduled flight. If you need to reach quicker, a speedboat-ride would be a much better option. |
