This 10-day tour will let you explore the breathtaking beautiful wonders of New Zealand. Beginning at the Christ Church and Ending there as well, this circular route will take you to the many icons of the South Island including but not limited to the Fiordland National Park and the Milford Sounds situated at the very tip of the island, as well as the volcanic mountain ranges of snow-capped Mt. Cook National Park. With the extra nights that are available in Queenstown and Christchurch, you will have plenty of time to discover the vibrant and cool city life of the country.
One of the best New Zealand Tours begins with a journey past the mountains of the awe-inspiring Southern Alps and turquoise waters of the alpine lakes. Later you arrive in Mt. Cook National Park. Next, you venture further south to Te Anau, the gateway to Fiordland National Park. Here you will have the brilliant opportunity to explore the pristine wilderness on the Milford Sound Nature Cruise. In the Adventure Capital, Queenstown, there’s enough time to enjoy the scenery and the never-ending activities before returning to Christchurch through the magnificent West Coast Glaciers.
Day 1 |
Arrival at Christchurch On the first day of your 10-day New Zealand trip, you will arrive at the airport where you will be met by one of our representatives. After giving you some important instructions, you will be transferred to your hotel. This day will be in total leisure so you can enjoy the day as you wish to. |
Day 2 |
Akaroa On the next day of the New Zealand trip, you will begin the trip to explore Christchurch and its vibrant life. You can also opt for a trip to Akaroa. Many activities such as Skiing, Mountain Biking, Wine Tasting, Bungee Jumping, Playing Golf, or even Whale Watching can be concluded on this day. You can choose any of the options best suited for you. |
Day 3 |
Lake Pukaki On the third day of the New Zealand Trip, you will head towards the Aoraki Mt. Cook, the highest mountain of the South Island. On the way, you will pass through various spots such as Canterbury Plains and the Mackenzie Country. We will stop at the serene lakeside town of Tekapo where you can look at the local natural beauty and then head towards Lake Pukaki from where you will have one of the most beautiful views of Mt. Cook. |
Day 4 |
Queenstown -Te Anau The next day, we will drive to Twizel which is towards the South of Mt. Cook, and is very famous as the location for various scenes of the movie Lords of the Rings. Later, we will move through the Kawarau Gorge to Queenstown and then south to Te Anau which is the Gateway to the Fiordland National Park and Milford Sound. The Te Anau Glowworm cave tour is one of the most beautiful experiences of the New Zealand tour. |
Day 5 |
Milford Sound This day will be completely dedicated to the beauty of nature. Passing along the way to Milford Sound you can experience the most beautiful natural scenes of the country. From the beautiful lakes to the glacier-formed meadows, the area is one of the best beauties of Nature. |
Day 6 |
Lake Wakatipu Rolling through the countryside you will follow towards Lake Wakatipu. The pristine of the lake surrounded by huge Mountain range towers are an amazing sight. From here on you will head towards the adventure capital, Queenstown. |
Day 7 |
Queenstown Known as the adventure capital, Queenstown does full justice to its name. The town once used to be a mining town and then it turned as one of the best places for the adrenaline-pumped tourists in the modern days. The town also offers activities for people who are looking for a calm experience in the town. Activities such as the Gondola ride gives you a beautiful view of the town. You can head down to the Gibbston Valley Winery for some wine tasting of the region's best Pinot. |
Day 8 |
Lake Wanaka Today, you will head towards Wanaka through the Crown Road, the Gateway to Mt. Aspiring National Park, and the splendid Lake Wanaka. You must grab this opportunity to soak in the natural beauty of the Lake and its surroundings. Later you will travel to the amazing Haast Pass towards the West Coast. You will have brilliant opportunities to take some nice shots through your camera on the way. |
Day 9 |
TranzAlpine Scenic Train On the 9th day of the New Zealand trip, we will head towards Greystone through the West Coast Road from where you will board in one of the world's greatest train journeys, the TranzAlpine Scenic Train. This train will take you to Christchurch but the journey in the carriage will be one of the most pleasant memories of the tour. You can see the lush beech forests, the beautiful peaks of the Southern Alps, and the deep river valleys from your comfortable carriage throughout the journey. |
Day 10 |
Departure On the last day of your New Zealand trip, you will depart from Christchurch to the airport from where you can catch your flight back home or to your next destination as planned. |
