  1. I am not a photographer or just a beginner in photography. Is this tour for me?

The primary purpose of this trip is to enjoy the best landscapes of the Balkan region along with Brown Bears.
Since this trip is designed for photographers, and by photographers, rest assured we have handpicked the best locations and you will be at the right places at the right time.

    1. Would you teach photography on this trip

There will be on-field guidance while shooting for those interested. In the evening there will be image reviews and talks on specific photography techniques and local habitat awareness. However it is expected that you are aware of the camera basics before you join the trip, to make the most of it.

  1. What camera gear do you suggest for this trip

We suggest a good wide angle lens for landscapes. For Bears, a 70-200mm or 70-300mm range lens is good. Feel free to discuss your gear requirements with us before the tour, we can also help to arrange camera rentals through our partners

  1. What physical fitness is required to join this trip

If you are fit enough to carry your regular work and shuttle between office and home, then you can join this trip! All tours are by vehicle, so no need to walk anywhere, except in small stretches for light treks.

    1. We have kids with us, can we join

Yes. Kids above 3 years of age are good to go when accompanied by parents. Infants are not recommended due to irregular schedules.

  • I had travelled with Alankar to Tal Chhappar for a birding trip in November 2015. The entire logistics was seamlessly managed, from stay to our vehicles. There were immense learning opportunities on the field and we spotted over 40 species of birds including many birds of prey for which Tal Chhappar is famous. I wish Alankar the best in his future endeavours.

  • I had a great time with Wild Voyager team at Rajaji National Park. Wish them the best for future.

  • The Jim Corbett National Park has recently opened after monsoon season of 2016. We were excited about staying within Forest Guest houses of Dhikala and Bijrani zones. The trip was not disappointing at all with lush green forests, good guides to ensure that the vehicle was well kept and ride was not very bumpy. The fauna was in full glory in the park. The tiger show on Sambhar road was a delightful experience. There was a slight hiccup in Dhikala Forest Rest house, but was sorted out soon. The stay in Malani Forest Rest house was a very soothing experience, sleeping along with jungle sounds. It was not the first visit for us to Jim Corbett National Park, and will not be the last one also.

  • It was my first visit to Kenya. Loved the places. Loved the way it was arranged. Came back with happy memories.
