Often a trip to nearby Namibia or Botswana is combined with a trip to Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls make a thundering 108m drop into narrow Batoka Gorge, where there are white-water rafting and bungee-jumping. Downstream are Matusadona and Mana Pools national parks, home to hippos, rhinos and birdlife Zimbabwe has the largest platinum and diamond reserves in the world. Multiple currencies work in Zimbabwe, you can buy an item priced in South African rands, pay in US dollars, and get a change in Euros! The air connectivity is good and there are direct flights to Victoria falls from nearby locations in South Africa and Namibia. Apart from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe also has a few national parks notably the Hwange national park.
