ITINERARY - 5 Days
Day 1

Arrival at Entebbe and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After having a pleasant journey, you will arrive at the Entebbe Airport in Uganda, where our representative will welcome you. You will then drive westwards for 7-8 hours to reach your first destination, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. On your way, you will stop for some time at Kigali Town, where you can click pictures of the natural beauty. You will then continue with your journey through the magical rolling hills of Uganda. The next stop during your journey would be at Kisoro Town or Kabale, and then you will continue your drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and reach there by late afternoon. After reaching, you can rest for the day, have dinner, and spend your night at your lodge.

Day 2

The Gorilla Trek

After having breakfast, you will head to the headquarters of the park. Upon arrivals, a group of guides will brief you before you begin your trek for spotting the giant gorillas.

 

The magnificent Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park is home to nearly half the population of the world’s Mountain Gorillas. Having around 90 species of mammals, the national park includes around 11 primates, out of which, the black-and-white colobus is the most prominent. The journey inside the forests thrills all the travellers trekking inside the park in search of the Mountain Gorillas.

 

After exploring the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, you will get the opportunity to spot the tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elisabeth Park. You can then enjoy your evening game drive, and come back for dinner at your jungle lodge.

Day 3

Transfer to Kibale National Park

After having breakfast on the third day, you will go on a game drive in the afternoon to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elisabeth Park. You will also have a game drive en-route Kibale National park where you can spot the unique tree-climbing lions at the park. In the afternoon, you will also go on a calming boat ride on the Kazinga channel connecting the Edward and George lakes. While you will be on the launch cruise, you will be able to spot the game of elephants, hippos, birds, and buffaloes at the shores of the waters. Then, you will finally be transferred to Kibale National Park. You will be served with a tempting dinner post which you can relax at your forest camp.

Day 4

Chimpanzees Trekking Day

After having an early breakfast, you will begin your day by reaching the Kibale National Park for a fun day of chimps Uganda trekking. Your activity will begin at 8 am, where the guides will brief you regarding the rules for trekking. You will then proceed with your exercise, which will take around half of your day. While trekking, you will be able to spot different primates like Phoestes, Grey-cheeked Mangabeys, Blue-tailed monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys, Red-Colobus, and many more, and your guide will keep briefing you about these primates. Kibale National Park is a lowland tropical rain forest, and that is why it has different varieties of tree species, insects, butterflies, and plants that are one of the prime reasons to visit this natural forest in Uganda.

 

After having an enjoyable chimp trekking Uganda session, you will return to your lodge for lunch. Post lunch, you will go for a walk to spot the Bigodi swamps at the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. After coming back, you will have your dinner and rest overnight at your Kibale forest camp.

Day 5

Travel to Entebbe and fly back

After having breakfast, you will drive back to the Entebbe International Airport for your flight back home with beautiful memories of Uganda.
