Renowned as South Africa’s most treasured National Park, the Kruger National Park is amongst the best places to spot the majestic Big Five. Having a massive area of about 20,000 square kilometers, it has a variety of wild animals that are spotted in the national park. Apart from the Big Five, namely the lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo, guests will also get to spot animals like wild dogs sable, roan antelope, and cheetah. The Kruger Park Safari takes the guests on a journey to witness the most stunning sights of South Africa’s wilderness. A lot of animals roam around the woodland savannah, and therefore, the guests will have excellent chances of observing an exciting animal interaction, like the famous lion-buffalo-crocodile battle. ITINERARY - 6 Days
Day 1

Arrive at Johannesburg

After having a pleasant flight, our representative will meet you at the Johannesburg airport and transfer you to the hotel.

After checking in, you can relax for the rest of the day. If you have time, then you can take a tour of the amazing city of Johannesburg.

Day 2

Fly to Nelspruit

After having breakfast, you will go to the airport and board on your flight to Nelspruit. Upon your arrival at Nelspruit, you will meet our driver who will take you to Kruger National Park. The drive will take two hours and you will reach by lunchtime. After having lunch, you can relax for some time at your hotel.

 

Once you feel fresh, you will proceed for your 3-hour afternoon game drive at a private game reserve in open 4x4 vehicles. The game drive is a thrilling ride that will help you spot various animals like Impala, Zebra, Giraffe, Lion, and many other animals. You will get to spot the same species which you might spot during your Kruger Park Safari, as there are no fences between this reserve and the Kruger National Park. In the middle of the safari, you will stop at a waterhole to enjoy some drinks. After having an adventurous game drive, you will come back and rest overnight at your hotel.

Days 3 - 5

Explore the stunning Kruger National Park

The Kruger National Park is amongst South Africa's largest game reserves and is home to over 500 species of birds, 100 species of reptile, and 150 species of mammals that include the renowned Big Five and even the endangered African wild dog.

 

On the third day, you will proceed towards your game drive. As soon as you will enter the park, your Kruger Park Safari will begin. During your Kruger Park safari, you will head towards the game viewing areas where you might get an opportunity to catch a glimpse of some stunning animals of the park that include the Big Five.

 

Before continuing through the park, you will enjoy your breakfast at a famous picnic spot. You will spend your entire day on game viewing, bird watching, and stopping off at the different waterholes that will fall on your route. After enjoying the Kruger Park safari, you will return to your lodge during late afternoon for a relaxed evening.

 

On the fourth day, you will drive back into the Kruger National Park for your Kruger Park safari. You will spend the full day in Kruger National Park and return to your lodge and relax around the bonfire, where you will listen to the night sounds of Africa.

 

On the fifth day, you will have your day at leisure. You can also take part in the optional Kruger Park safari drive along the Panoramic Route to view the Drakensberg Escarpment, the most gorgeous scenery of South Africa. The sights that you will see on your route will include God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes, and few of the glittering waterfalls within the Blyde River Canyon.

Day 6

Fly back Home

After waking up early, you will go for a morning bush walk around your hotel's property. A qualified nature guide will accompany you and will provide details about the various birds, trees, and spoor identification.

 

Later, you will be transferred to Nelspruit airport for your flight to Johannesburg. After reaching Johannesburg, you will board on your flight back home with all the memories of your amazing Kruger Park Safari.
