Day 1 |
Arrival at Zanzibar Upon your arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be met by our representative, who will transfer you to your Zanzibar resorts. You can relax for the day as it will be at leisure. Being one of the favorite beach destinations amongst discerning world travelers, the pristine white sand beaches of Zanzibar are a treat to the senses. Not just the beaches, but Zanzibar is also famous from a historical perspective. The Stone Town in Zanzibar is a historic trade center with Swahili and Islamic cultural confluence. The winding lanes and minarets of Zanzibar will take you back by several centuries. |
Day 2 |
Stone Town and Prison Island Tour After having breakfast, you will leave for a day tour of Zanzibar's UNESCO-listed historic district to the Stone Town and Prison Island. The Stone Town is of prominent artistic and historical importance in East Africa. Its architecture dates back to the 19th century and reflects the Swahili culture along with a unique mixture of Moorish, Persian, Arab, European, and Indian elements. Being one of the most popular tourist attractions, Prison Island served as a place for quarantine and was also the area where slaves were arrested. You will learn about the history and culture in Stone Town as you walk past its attractions, such as the Portuguese Fort, the Sultan Palace, before continuing your tour to Prison Island, which is famous for its population of giant tortoises. You will also explore the spice market as you will relish a local lunch. Darajani Market or the spice bazaar of Zanzibar has sections of fruit, vegetables, seafood, and meat. The market also sells some of the most famous spices of the Zanzibar island. You can feel free to walk around the winding alleys of Stone Town at leisure. You should also visit the unique Rock Restaurant, which lies in the waters of the Indian Ocean. Being one of Zanzibar’s most popular destinations, the restaurant specializes in local dishes and seafood.
After exploring, you will return to your hotel for the evening. Your resort will organize for musical evenings with local musicians playing indigenous instruments so that you can enjoy the local music at your Zanzibar honeymoon. |
Day 3 |
Beach relaxation Post breakfast, you will enjoy the white sandy beach for miles and capture beautiful pictures on this beautiful island. You can also indulge in a host of watersports or activities like snorkelling, scuba diving, waterskiing, windsurfing, dhow cruise, and other marine activities. The watersports activities attract a lot of people due to the safety precautions and the clear waters of the beaches in Zanzibar. Almost all the underwater watersports activities like scuba, snorkelling, etc., make you experience the rich and diverse marine wildlife of the Indian Ocean. The experience of performing these activities is a once in a lifetime event. After your fun day, you will spend your evening at the resort. |
Day 4 |
Fly out of Zanzibar After breakfast, you will be transferred to the international airport for your flight back home. Your pleasant tour will end at the Airport. |
