Madagascar is known for its beautiful rock formations, natural pools, and vast canyons visited by thousands of tourists each year. Head out to explore the area, keep your eyes wide open to spot the rarest endemic bird species and embrace the rich cultural traditions of the area. ITINERARY - 14 Days
Day 1

Arrival at Antananarivo

On your arrival at the Ivato International Airport in the city of Antananarivo, you'll be accompanied by our guide to the hotel in the upper town of the city.

Enjoy the views of the city from your room and later head out to explore the architecture and the Tana, which is the Indonesian influence on the city.

Day 2

Transfer to Andasibe-Mantadia National Park

Our guide will have you transferred to the Andasibe-Mantadia National Park. The park has a rainforest and 2 protected areas which are the Mantadia National Park and Perinet Special Reserve known for their indri lemur species.

Post lunch, you will visit the Lemur island and get a chance to spot the bamboo lemur, black and white ruffed lemur, one diademed sifaka, and the brown lemur.

Day 3

Travel to Mantadia National Park

Post breakfast, travel your way to the next destination on your Madagascar luxury tour, the Mantadia National Park. The park is filled with different species of lemurs like the white ruffed lemur, diademed sifaka, indri lemur, grey bamboo lemur, and the red-bellied lemur. The forests are dense and thickly surrounded by many species of mammals, birds, and reptiles.

Enjoy your trail to the Riansasoa Waterfall, explore the forest at night.

Day 4

Explore the Perinet Reserve

After breakfast, head out to explore the Perinet Reserve. The reserve is famous for the Indri Lemurs known for their teddy bear face, the black and white marks, and the tiny tail. You can spot the other species of lemurs including the grey bamboo lemur, common brown lemur, black and white ruffed lemur, and the diademed sifaka. The other species you can spot in the Madagascar private tour include reptiles, birds, invertebrates, and others.

Post lunch you will drive back to Antananarivo.

Day 5

Arrive at Isalo National Park

Our guide will drive you to Ivato Airport where you can fly to Toliata to the Isalo National Park. Check into your hotel for the next two days.

Your hotel is set on the edge of the national park, known for its deep canyons, clear water, sandstone rocks, and natural pools used by the Bara Tribes for centuries.

Day 6

Explore Isalo National Park

One of the most diverse parts of the Madagascar luxury tour is the Isalo National Park. The best trail is the Canyon des Singes, where you can explore the dense forests, the rock formations, and reach the Piscine Naturelle.

The park is known for the 14 lemur species, 35 reptile species, 80 bird species, and endemic frogs.

Day 7

Explore Zombitse National Park

Explore the Zombitse National Park spanning around 36,300 hectares of land. You can find the rarest species on your Madagascar luxury tour such as the Giant coua, the crested Coua. Post lunch you will be driven to the Bakuba Lodge where you can spend your afternoon relaxing.

Enjoy snorkelling and scuba diving activities as well.

Day 8

Explore Zenavo Forest

Transfer to the Toliara airport to the Mandrare River Camp. Enjoy the views over the Mandrare River and a thrilling walk in the Zenavo Forest. Have a chance to spot diurnal lemurs, nocturnal lemurs in the Spiny Forest.

Keep your eyes out for the mouse lemurs, sifakas, and sportive lemurs with other birds and chameleons.

Day 9

Explore Mandrare river camp

Explore the Mandrare river camp before entering the Scared Gallery Forest, situated on the southern corner of the camp on your Madagascar private tour. Depending upon the level of water you can opt for boating across the Mandrare river to reach the forest.

You can find incredible fauna, encounter the Antandroy tribe, and spot the Verreaux sifaka or the groups of ring-tailed lemurs. Learn more about the Antandroy culture, and rest for the day.

Day 10

Explore Scared Spiny Forest

Rise for a refreshing coffee and head your way through the Scared Spiny Forest. Keep your eyes open to spot the rare octopus trees, endemic birds, and a variety of Vagnas. Return to the camp for breakfast. Spend the rest of your day by visiting the local village and the markets (Open on Thursdays and Saturdays.)

In the evening, head out to view the sunset over the baobabs, and watch the show put together by the Antandroy tribe.

Day 11

Travel to Fort Dauphin

Enjoy your scrumptious continental breakfast at the Manafiafy Beach & Rainforest Lodge on your Madagascar luxury tour. Post break, visit the Stitch project, and local woodworking shop where you encounter the Antanosy community. Stitch is a UK-based charity organization created by Azafady with the Malagasy NGO in southern Madagascar. It helps women to live a sustainable livelihood by teaching them various skills.

Post-lunch, travel to Fort Dauphin to explore the mangroves network and spot many endemic birds.

Day 12

Explore Manafiafy Beach & Rainforest Lodge

Rise early and continue exploring the Manafiafy Beach & Rainforest Lodge on your Madagascar luxury tour. Spot the red-collared lemur particularly at dusk or dawn. They generally live in groups up to 20. Spot many birds like the Crested Coua, Hook-billed Vanga, Giant Coua, and Vasa parrots.

In the evening, spot the Flying Fox, Madagascar’s largest bat.

Day 13

Back to Antananarivo

Post breakfast, drive back to Fort Dauphin to arrive at the airport, from there you will engage in a three-hour flight back to Antananarivo.

On arrival, drive back to your hotel and experience the city views and stroll across the colorful streets.

Day 14

Departure

Enjoy the final breakfast at your hotel and transfer to the Ivato International Airport to catch your flight back home.
