Stroll through Hobart We start our delightful 10 days in Tasmania by exploring the state capital, Hobart. As we arrive at the destination on the same day, take some time to relax and get ready, thereby setting out to stumble across the Salamanca Market, the biggest open-air market and the heart of Australia. You can end the night by encountering the evening vibe that local restaurants have to offer. |
Day 2 |
Visit the exclusive Port Arthur Day two starts with an adventurous drive towards the Tasman Peninsula. We will come across Eaglehawk Neck and tessellated pavement on the way to Port Arthur. Time for hiking- Freycinet National Park Day three is all about testing your stamina and encountering several panoramic views. We start with a drive to Freycinet National Park. Swansea is the nearest landmark to this destination. You can choose your desired location for hiking from here. An ideal place to start is Mt. Amos, Wineglass Bay, for beautiful sightseeing. |

Take a peek at the Bay of Fires Day 4 revolves around two major spots: the Gardens and the Bay of Fires. You can start small by going to Binalong Bay Beach. Visit the dreamy Bay of Fires, which offers not only a picturesque view but also divine nature. After cozying up around the beach, it’s time to visit the gardens. We stop at Sloop Reef and Cosy Corner before we reach our destination. |
Day 5 |
Explore the euphoric Bridestowe Lavender Farmland Launceston Day five of our 10 days in Tasmania involves visiting the aesthetically pleasing Bridestowe Lavender Farmland in Launceston. We start early in the morning and set out for a 3-hour road trip. We stop at the lavender farm before reaching our destination. Enjoy the pleasing and picturesque destination, thereby heading to the ultimate cruise drive in the Tamar Valley. |
Day 6 |
Maunder through the Cradle Mountain Visit the bushy and dense regions of Cradle Mountain. Visit Lake St. Clair subsequently and choose your desired walking track to encounter the heavenly aura of the lake. You can then decide to visit either Dove Lake, Marrion’s Point, or Clair Lake.

Visit the beguiling Mount Field National Park As the sun rises, we begin our seventh day of the trip. We move towards Mount Field National Park. The drive is about 4 to 5 hours. Visit Russell Falls, Horseshoe Falls, and Lady Barron Falls. Later, we will spend the night at the closest accommodation in the Mount Field region. |
Day 8 |
Enjoy the exuberant beauty of The Bruny island On the 8th day, we head to Bruny Island. We utilize the ferry that starts from Kettering. Bruny Island offers a myriad of things to do. You can start by visiting the dreamy penguins. From several eating stalls to scenic attractions, Bruny Island is the epicenter of engagement and the folklore of Tasmania. Check out Berry Farm and other fascinating spots while enjoying tours of Bruny Island, and stay the night at Adventure Bay. |
Day 9 |
Travel back to Hobart After you are all set to leave Bicheno, we come to the second last day of our 10 days in Tasmania. Leave early in the morning to reach the Wineglass Bay Lookout. This is the ultimate location for sightseeing, followed by the gripping Freycinet National Park. You can then go ahead and visit Mt. Amos for a long walk. You can also relax at one of the hypnotic beaches while taking endless pictures. The day comes to an end by encountering a dazzling ride through scenic Swansea’s east coast, thereby reaching our primary destination, Hobart. |
Day 10 |
Explore additional attractions of Hobart We start the last day of the trip by visiting MONA, the Museum of Old and New Art.
